A lot of sketches are done when I'm facing the job of illustrating a children's book. And the reason is that it is by far the most creative and fun part of the work. These two are part of all those sketches that you will not find in the book. ;) I hope you like.
The final composition and the Lion design itself are different in the book. In the next post I show Loony Lion color illustration as left.
